I have searched the forum and have not been able to locate this issue, so here goes. Is it possible to change the time delay, or disable the function, that turns off your parking lights after 5 min when the engine is off?

I frequently load/unload an enclosed trailer at night, and the dome light is powered with the parking lights. I kind of hate to waste fuel to leave the truck running during a 20-30 minute load/unload...

I could also rewire the trailer to use the always hot charging pin in the trailer connector, except that does not appear to be hooked up in my truck, which also means my backup battery is not being charged... (I did find that thread, but don't have the coiled wire under the brake cylinder which is mentioned there...)

Any ideas?

I do not have the DIC option, if that is a factor.

What truck do you have? Check your fuses. If the wiring is all hooked up, and aux power is not working, check the fuse for Stud 1. It should be a red plastic dummy fuse. Replace that and you should be good with aux power. As for the headlights, I am not sure.
