I may have the option of ordering a truck with one of the SEO Solid colors but I dont know of anyone that has done it. Apperently it may be offered to us military that are ordering directly from the factory. The only thing I could find on the colors is here:

http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/domestic/proddesc.jsp?year=2006&vehicleID=2120&regionID=1&divisionID=1&regionID=1&section=col_trim&typeID=6&pagenum=&butID=3&page=9

Anyone have any pics of trucks in any of the SEO colors?
thanks

There were a few yellow ones on here from time to time. Cool color. You CAN order those colors, but the downside is, outside of the yellow, they are not all THAT glamorous and they take longer to get in once ordered. The Tangier Orange is like a DOT orange, if you know what that means. I know Iowa DOT runs about the same orange and I think MI DOT does too. That is why they have those special colors, mainly for fleet, but it is available to you too, if you are willing to wait.

I would really like to have a blue truck but I am not at all crazy about the dark blue metallic, and the new blue isn't available in a crew cab. I like a few of those blue ones listed but not sure how easy it is to order, especially without a paint code. Timeline is easy, I don't get back from Iraq until Jan 06 and want to take delivery Feb 06. I will order as soon as I am able (when they have 06 pricing).

I just traded for a 2005 light autumnwood I believe. All they could tell me at the dealership was that it was a special order color and it was either light/dark autumnwood. I have seen a couple of tahoes close to this color and really like it.

As soon as I get pics I will post them on the board.

The Autumnwood was one of the colors I was thinking about, definitely post pics when you get them.

From what I have read - it sounds like you must order 5 vehicles of the same color? Dont' know if it is true or not.... A local trucking company here did the mint green...

Yeah apparently that is the case, but from what I understand you don't have to buy all five of them. In fact a couple of dealerships can work out a deal and split up an order of them (at least a dealership around here did that).

I finally got pictures but I am not sure how to get them the right size? I can e-mail them or I give me a little time and I will find out how to resize them.

Yeah, you would have thought he would have at least washed it, though. :D :D

What is the color code on that autumnwood? The Dealerworld site I listed at the beginning doesn't have a color code, just a touch-up paint code. For that matter, does anyone know where I can cross reference the touch-up paint code to get a color code (for when I order). Thanks.

If you can tell me where to look in my glovebox I will be glad to look it up.

In the glove box, there is an RPO sticker. The paint code is at the bottom left of that. You will see BC/CC then 3 numbers and a letter. That is your paint code. That color is really nice! They should include it in thier actual lineup.

In my glovebox after BC/CC is 52D, does that sound correct?

Yes, that sounds correct.
