I have been reading on here that some guys are running this combination with no problems. I emailed Justin at Cognito and he said they won't work due to size and backspacing. Anyone having any problems with this setup? Rubbing issues? Trimming? etc, etc. I would appreciate any and all feedback. I installed the green keys along with this kit also. Thanks in advance.

I have H2 tires on my duramax and all I had to do was crank the torsion bars in the front. There is light rubbing when you make a u turn or hard turn. I did have to trim about an inch of plastic off under the bumper. I think the thing with the backspacing means that the H2 center caps will not fit on the rear wheels.

Thanks, I plan on using the GM center caps anyways. Just want to be sure before I buy these things.

I think because the H2 wheels have so much backspacing (5.5"), either they or the tires will rub the cognito upper a-arms. Thats why they recommend no more then 4.5" (or is it 4.25?) of bs.

I also think I read somewhere that mentioned cognito redesigning their parts to work with the H2 wheels in the near future since they are so popular.

GB, I think you'll need to trim the stobbs off the caps. ;) Those little plastic feet seem to prohibit the threads from touching. ie~ cap is too far off rim.

GB, I spoke to Justin about a week an 1/2 ago about installing the Cognito uca, leveling kit, Bilstien shocks and green keys along w/ H2's (ready to place my order)and to my surprise Justin told me that he really can't recommend that set up ... yah he's awhere that there's alot of guys doing it from the east coast and that the h2 backspacing was too much ... so needless to say I'm still on hold! What's up w/ that? Anybody got an answer?

Here's the skinny on the H2 setup using Cognitos kit...I was one of the first ones to install this kit and probably the first to run H2's with it....I worked with Justin through emails on what worked and what didn't...Can H2 clear the uca's...yes as long as the supplied 1/4" spacer is used, but they only clear by 1/8-1/4"(at full lock)...depending on type of tire and inflation. Also by using a spacer you essentially loose the hub centric centering of the rim on the hub...therefore your best bet is to go with the recommended rim backspacing.
