hey everyone - newbie here. I am currently looking at getting a new gooseneck horse trailer and need to install a new gooseneck hitch in my new truck. What are others using and why? Thanks

B&W Turnover ball. Rated for 7500 tongue weight, 30k trailer weight, IIRC. I've got one. No problems whatsoever.

Thanks for the information, that is what I was leaning towards but is it better to hear from others who use the product not just sell it. I will be placing an order tomorrow for one. Thanks again

If you want the absolute best/strongest, check out my Sig. You can do a search and get the website for the Una-goose hitch. :ro)

I got mine about 3 1/2 years ago. IIRC it was about $600, could be wrong. Mine was installed professionally, took a while, but came out perfect.

I just purchased my second una-goose for my second D-max. Price was near $500 including shipping across the country, they are simple in design and STOUT.

I have too used the B&W turnover ball in my F350 and now in my C4500. Works great and is strong. I have no complaints with it. I use it with the ball and the companion 5th wheel hitch for my 5'er. No issues, no complaints.

Thanks for the input everyone. UPS delivered the B&W today. It cost me $370 including shipping was ordered on Thursday July 7th. Looks like I will be putting it in tonight.
