would you guys be nervous to buy a used programmer off ebay, i mean i wouldnt think you could really hurt these things right? just need some outside opinions, dont want to drop 5 or 6 hundred bucks on a dud.

this is just my own personal opinion, but unless I know the person selling it or actually see it working in a truck, I won't buy used. If no other choice I'd just save a couple extra $$ and buy new.

as I said.. just my opinion on that.

I bought a used edge no attitude for $250 off e-bay a month or so ago. It works great. But, I may have just gotten lucky. For the price I had to take a chance though. If you are quick they pop up quite often here in the classifieds for very good prices. I just always seem to be a few minutes late!

And at that price you can sleep at night knowing that the unit you bought was stolen by meth heads out of some hard working dude's truck and they used Ebay money to buy another batch of chemicals and cook up some more to sell in front of the school and get more people addicted which will cause much more Edge thievery and lower the Ebay prices even more...:joke: I bought a used edge no attitude for $250 off e-bay a month or so ago. I bought mine used, called Edge and asked them to check it out and update. They said no problem...AND no charge. I shipped it out last week.

I got mine from someone right ON THIS FORUM ;) , and it works GREAT :D

I bought mine from Ebay for $275 and it works fine. I would make sure to check the seller's feedback first.
