Is it just me, or have any other long term members noticed the excessive amount of "injector failure" posts by new members with a low post count?
Makes me wonder if Hoot has the guys from the Dodge forum trolling over here?!

I can assure you in my case it is not. In fact my Duramax is still in the shop today.
The truck failed Memorial Day weekend while pulling my RV. The tech used his scanner and determined the injectors were bad (35,400 miles). After replacing all injectors now the truck will not drive 20 miles without losing prime in stop and go traffic. The truck has been in the shop more than a month. The dealer has admitted they have no idea as to what the problem is. I know they have replaced the following parts. Eight Injectors, Injector Pump, Dropped and cleaned fuel tank. Primer Pump and seals. All kinds of fuel lines. Fuel pressure tests. Get this... On the first day it broke down the prime was ok..... As of now GM is involved. And they are clueless.
And I am Pissed. No I did not make this up!!!

They probably cracked the fuel filter/primer housing or the WIF sensor when they were farting around with it. Take the fuel lines off, plug one side and add a little air pressure to it, spray with a soap solution and check it for leaks.

Don't know about the new member conspiracy theory, but this is my 2nd D/A, and the first time I needed to replace 8 injectors. I wish it was a conspiracy, then I could laugh about it.
