Well a couple weeks back my power seat was working fine. I let my mother drive my truck and she is shorter than I am so she had to move the seat forward a considerable amount. I went to get back in the truck and it went about half way back, then stopped. It will not go any farther back than that. I am getting tired of having my knees up in the kneeboard!

Has anyone had a similar issue? I don't have much time or info to diagnose the problem so I figured I'd check here first. The seat does go forward and back just fine, just won't go back past about half way. It gets to that point, then the motor stops. The switch seems to be fine, and the motor does not seem to be struggling or anything. There is also nothing stuck under the seat.

Should I try a different section maybe?

mine did the same thing, I had to press the switch several times for it to get to the desired position. I would press the switch and it would move just alittle each time. No more issues.

Maybe check to see if something fell in the track and thats what it's getting bound up on?
