In reading the post by nassDmax about his post Oem Cat filter install on Dec 31 I decided I could do the install myself.
I ordered the list from his post. Under incidentals below his list are other items needed such as 1/4NPT to hose adapter, street elbow, 1/2" hose etc.
The problem is that when going to connect 1/4NPt to the in and out threads of the filter base they fit loosely and only seem to grab on about a turn or two. I tried to find 3/8 and they are too big.
Does anyone know what size fittings, name of them and who may stock these.

Those are -6 Boss O ring fittings. They are straight thread, not NPT. Cat dealer should have them, ParkerStore, or Summit Racing.

They are listed in the parts section. (I hope). They are not easy to get from your normal channels though.
