socal2ks 06-14-2010, 07:24 PM Scratch that.
Anyone have a good source for projectors?
Meeko 06-14-2010, 11:00 PM I have Anzo with HIDs. Ive had them for a while now with no problems. Got them from stylin trucks.
socal2ks 06-15-2010, 01:46 AM I think with the 2003-2007 headlights it is really hard to find a good quality headlight.
steakman 06-15-2010, 10:01 PM I thought that one could buy OEM Denali projectors...then add your HID's..??
I bought some AM plastic types...they work ok..but not the best I would think.

Ok let me be more specific, 2003-2007 Chevys have really no good options for a projector. The GMC's do.
I did do some research into a acura tsx retrofit, and it seems it would run ~$400-500
nevinbretz 01-13-2011, 04:40 PM would you mind sending me some info or posting some links on where you found info on the acura tsx retrofit?

This place has a variety of headlights, I tried these w/ HID's and found them to be a great upgrade over OEM.

Those are for the GMC...will they work on the Chevy as well? Others seem to indicate that the GMC and Chevy are not interchangeable in this regard?
JRZ2500HD 01-14-2011, 08:46 AM I've been looking at projectors too. Over at hidplanet.com there are a couple of guys doing retrofits on our headlights. the 03-07 are really hard with the shape. The nbs look great with them.
docholliday 01-14-2011, 10:32 AM Anyone know anything about the quality of these?

Trippleh 01-22-2011, 01:55 PM I may jump out and test one of these and report on it. They're about the closest thing I can find to just plug in and go!

I personally have these headlights but in the 02 body style. I can easily say they are the best money i have spent on my truck and are HID capable. Very clean cutoff and the angel eyes are super bright.
HMartin 01-23-2011, 09:47 AM Someone has to have some pics of these on 03-06, if you do please post!
coldfusion 01-23-2011, 05:03 PM FYI turbometal doesn't make those headlights. There are only a couple of manufacturers out there. I know these headlight distributors well. Many sell the same exact headlight under a different brand name. Some sell to each other.
Its hard to tell which is better quality, buy the style you like, they are pretty low cost (generally about $160+ship retail)
JRZ2500HD 01-24-2011, 12:57 PM The best way to get a good quality projector would be to retro fit them. That would give you the best projector. The ones you find in the after market set aren't the best and more then likely for halogen bulbs. They make a relatively easy retro fit kit that would go where your lowbeams are and would require I believe some minor cutting and such. They are called Morimoto. Or you could talk to Retrosolutions. He's a vedor on here about his retro kits.
