Hello Everyone!

Was wondering how I can get rid of the WIF. I am having trouble with truck holding prime because of the two o rings in the WIF. I believe I have read that it is possible to get rid of them can anyone tell me what I need to do? Thanks in advance.

Short answer is yes.

I think nicktane offers a fuel filter that replaces the OEM one and it does not have a WIF sensor hole.

Now as far as getting a CEL once you remove it I am not sure. I asked in another thread but I did not get a answer.

Rebel7777 had a machinist make a bunch of metal replacement ones. PM him for more info.

If you get rid of the WIF sensor, or don't have it hooked up, you will not get codes.

i replaced my leaky/cracked junky plastic sensor that has never turned on with a custom made one from a machine shop. cost me $50 cuz i only made one but much cheaper than the sensor than the wif. Just an aluminum plug with a square head on it.
