I didn't get the homelink controll on my 05 LT and was wondering if anyone has added them and how they didi it and what they used. Thanks for your help.

I installed it onto my '02. I took out the push button that holds the garage door opener behind it and triggers it. The homelink snapped right in place of it.
I wired it to a constant power wire in the same location. Easy install.

My 05 LT didn't come with homelink either, I noticed that if you have the sunroof, then your overhead has homelink, I was thinking of trying to find an overhead for the sunroof, it would just have an extra switch.

I just purchased one used off of ebay. I plan on installing it this weekend. It just has 2 wires to be hooked up. Looks pretty easy though.

Here is what I found so far. It can also be purchased at the dealer but I do believe it willl come with the Sunroof switch where this one doesn't.

Check eBay, there is always 1 or 2 there. They have one's for sunroof also. I watched and got one out of an 02 Tahoe for $50.00. I had to use the wires out of my 03 and run a hot wire from fuse panel. The 03's and up have a different weiring scheme.

Do a search for "homelink". I wrote up how to install the "long console" type. The "short console" type looks like a plug and play setup...real easy.
