I plan on getting a new water pump because the one that I have is weeeping throught the weeping hole. What water pump should I get for my 6.2l?

And how do I check f I need to replace my oil pump? Theres this plastic ring on it and its a faded yellowish colour.

Water pumps can be bought from any supplier, rock auto has very good pricing. Plastic clip on oil pump is only meant to hold hex shaft to the oil pump. Oil pumps typically don't go bad.

i wouldnt bother changing the oil pump untill a major overhaul, or if the oil presure is low and you suspect the pump is the culprit. that ring will turn yellowish from the black crude oil blown all over it.
