Does anyone use or have Westin Signature Series Step Bars???? Im looking to see how they hold up and if the powder coating peels??

Had a set of black pc stainless on my '01. Held up pretty good. Never chipped or flaked in the three years I had them, but they did get scuffed up. You really have to treat them like bodywork, or the road will take a toll on them. I would recommend them...

I have the chrome ones and am very happy with them...have been on the truck since 11/06 and haven't rusted and are as sturdy as the day I put them on.;)

I have the platinum series, chrome. Only issue is the black part that you step on keeps coming loose. Westin will ship new step pads free of charge, but it gets old changing them out. If I had to buy again, I would get the oval version. It has a longer pad. For some reason, the step pad seems to be too far fwd and I tend to step on the very back of it or even the chrome area. But the chrome has held up very well. Jerry.

The brackets that hold the bars in place are starting to peel and rust but a little touch up with a rattle can took care of it. The chrome is holding up very well and the black treads are still in place.
