Hello

Just got a new to me truck love it so far!
I want to install an in bed 5th wheel plug, my truck has the towing pack I haven't ha d a chance to look but im told there is an extra wire bundle that I can install in the bed.
Where is the best place to install this? also will i have to connect the 12 volt feed under the hood for the power to be available in the trailer?
how hard is it to accomplish and what size whole will need to be drilled to do this.

Im currently away out of the country and will be back home in a few weeks so I don't have access to the truck now.

Thanks

Yes - go here for instructions: http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2557997&postcount=1

and unless you install an ignition powered relay, the 12V will be hot all the time.

I put mine in last weekend just behind the drivers wheel well in the thickest part of the bed side wall. I drilled a 2 1/8" hole for the plug and had the camper/5th wheel wiring provisions under the front of the bed so it was easy to install.
