Anybody know how possible/difficult it is to swap my power-extendable towing mirrors for a set of power-folding mirrors? Do I have to reprogram the computer?

If this swap is doable, I will be looking to swap mirrors from my new truck if anybody is interested (I will post in the proper section if this turns out to be a do-it-yourself caliber project)!

The swap is easy, and you will need to have a dealer reprogram the DDM, PDM and BCM for them to function properly.

Max Payne is correct, just some re-programming by the dealer will get them working properly.

I know that TheMonkey was looking at upgrading his mirrors on his truck from the power folding to some type of towing mirrors. You may want to pm him and see if he has any interest in this swap (he just might!).

thx for the thought... i decided to stick with clip-on and improved the mounting so they would handle the wind better. but when i got on the hwy, i started looking at all the other setups.... drool. for now i'll wait though. good luck.
