I had a buddy trade in his Duramax for a Ford this past week... I am looking at goign to buy it myself, but is this truck a good deal?

2001 Duramax LS with leather seats
4wd full 4 door
6" lift
35" tires on Weld wheels
70,000 miles
Auto
Bone stock motor and tranny.

Is this worth about 25,000? Would you pay as high as 27,000 for it?

He said he NEVER had a problem with this truck. Would you guys jump on this?

A bit too high still. A new one with the GM discount is @ $35K. Offer them 21 and I bet they might go. Just my opinion.

I agree. Never give them what they want.
By reading the added options I really think the motor would have had some mods done to it. Putting those large of tires on that truck will definatly slow it down stock, and I really don't think that someone that likes large lifts and tires is only going to do the suspension when an addtional 100 hp is only about $400 more.

If your buddy traded it in ask him what he got trade in wise then go from there?

If they gave him 23k your probably not talking them down....it all depends on what they paid...I'd say go with 2K over what he traded it for and work your way up from there..as always cash talks!
