I just put on a 6" lift with 35's and was curious about changing the rear gear to a 4.10 to accomodate for the extra tire.
What benefits/downfalls would I get from running a 4.10? Mileage, engine rpm? Gimme it all?

I figure all of the numbers, I was just curious if there are any serious downfalls to changing gears other than the cost.
If your going to run a 35" tire I would run at least a 4.10 gear IF I had an overdrive tranny. The major drawback is that if you ever go away from a lift and want to run smaller tires you will hate the gears. I run 35's with 4.56 gears and a six inch lift with a TH400, and its still whines above 60 mph. The gears will help alot around town getting those big tires moving .
