Have an 03 5500 and guess what, injector time! Can anyone point me in the right direction for good parts? I would prefer one stop shopping if possible but no dealerships. Not much luck with them. Dealer told me he had "upgraded" Bosch injectors for this motor and would not have this prob again but no one can tell me what the supposed upgrade is. Is there an injector out there that will last me more than 30k miles? Thanks Rob

Per some posts on here there is suppose to be an improved injector with harden seat. Merchant Automotive carries good Duramax products and is very knowledgeable about parts. Go to the Diesel Place Home Page and click on vendors, he is listed there.

30k on a set of injectors? I sure hope so, many have had them last from 50k-150k
