PPE Xcelerator Hot +2 E.T.

Recently had truck worked on at the stealer for a wiring problem. I returned my truck to stock before I took it in for the work.

Today I went to reprogram my truck and it installed the tune but the screen on the PPE read error - 000000000000000000000000. I then unplugged the programmer and started the process over. I went directly to the diag. options and choose back to stock. Programmer goes through likes always to B3 in the bottom right corner then returns to the error - multiple 0 screen.

PPE programmer is version 2.35, 20 March 2008. I have never update the programmer.

Everything I have read says I need to update the version of my programmer but PPE's website states that you must first return the truck to stock before updating the files on the programmer. So this is where I'm stuck

Thanks,
Jaymes

Had a similar problem on a friends truck and turns out he returned it to stock tuning but didn't return the truck to stock IIRC. The PPE had to be sent back to PPE to be redone.

Check and see if you have anything plugged into the cigarrtte light or power point. I had my phone on the car charger and it it kept throwing up errors. Unplugged the charger and tried it again, went through with no issues.

Put on your parking brake so the daytime lights won't come on. Shut off the heater fan, unplug anything from the cig lighter, radio off, doors closed.
