Was going to put a billet grill in my GMC but am giving it seconnd thoughts now because poosible overheat might be caused by the increased grill bar space. Anyone who has installed a billet grill having any heat problems or noticing the fan coming into full operation more frequently. Tempature is hovering around 100 degrees here now so I don't need to create an air block. Appreciate any comments. Thanks.

I have a Precision Overlay in my truck and i have yet to notice a dference. Although i havent seen 100* ambient temps yet either..... time will tell i guess. What kind of grill were you thinking of getting?

Going to the shop this afternoon and look at CarriageWork billet grills, both overlay and cutout.I've seen a few of them on the road and they look okay. There made from 6061-T6 Aircraft grade aluminum and polished to a chrome like finish. One truck shop had them fpr $185 and my regular shop has them for $137.50 plus tax. Same part no. both places.
