Took my truck in this morning for a water pump and I need some info in case I need to call Bullsh!t.

1. How many hours does the book say it takes for this job? The service writer/parts guy told me 6-7 hours.

2. Is it cover under the 100,000 mile warranty? He said he didn't think it was but "he would check". I told him I'm at 103,000 miles and he talked like if it was covered that they could maybe help me out.
