It is becoming a lot of headache to make the switch up to the lux model of the BOSE amp to get respectable sound. Do you think this would be a viable option...
Place a EQ unit like Pioneer's DEQ-7600 between the stock head-unit and the "premium" amp. Also hook up a powered sub like a Bazooka or the like behind my rear seats, branched off of the EQ. Does anyone think this might make a respectable sounding system?
I can not seem to compete with everyone else on e-bay for the few lux amps that are turning up, and I don't really want to change out my head-unit as well unless I was to drop the bomb for the nav unit, and that is big $$$. I can get the above items for about $500 instead.
Or am I just crazed...
