Okay from what the manual says I should be able to adjust my seat, radio stations, temp, and everything for the 2 different settings right.
Well it also says to set the mirrors and they will change with the two different settings, but they don't change.
I have sat in the truck, moved the mirrors and then pressed "seat 1" expecting the mirror to go back to position, but nothing. Is this normal or is my owner's manual full of ****?

My owners’ manual said it will adjust all features of the seat and the two outside mirrors. Ran a test on my 05 HD LT and only the seat moved, I will talk to my dealer this week.

Same here....My owners manual says it adjust everything. Only the seat moves. My buddys corvette adjust everything. Maybe a typo in the manual.

I just thought I'd add that I have the regular power mirrors..... not the extending trailering mirrors.

My 03 memory seats work OK. Make sure before you start that you are in the driver #1 setting. If you unlock the doors with the #2 remote you will be starting in the #2 position so keep that in mind. With everything unlocked with the #1 remote, set seat, radio, temp, mirrors in park and press and hold driver #1 position. Put the truck in reverse so the mirrors tilt down and set them to your desired position and press the #1 position again. All driver #1 settings are now set. Now do the same with really drastic changes and set the #2 settings. You should now see changes when driver #1 and #2 are pushed. Try lock/unlock with each remote and you should see them change also. If not then set something up to have your dealer look at it.

Yup..exactly...it gets confused if you keep using the #2 remote yet the #1 preset settings...

Ok guys I'll try that.
The other thing that you mentioned that I noticed is the mirrors don't tilt down when I put it in reverse.....

to get the mirrors to tilt down in reverse, you need to scroll thru the DIC and turn on the curb view setting.

When I scroll thru the DIC I don't see that as an option.

I think the problem might be that your truck is programed for Tow Mirrors. Put the mirror selection rocker switch in the middle. Then press on the left side of the mirror position switch. This should cause the mirrors to automatically fold in. Curb view and powered fold in feature are only available with standard mirrors. The dealer might need to reprogram for standard mirrors.

WOW... I didn't know that they auto folded in......
I'll have to look into this and if nothing else get the dealer to look into things.
1- mirror memory
2- curb view
3- power fold

Ok so I was playing with the truck and the autofold feature works, but the curb view and the mirror memory doesn't. I looked through the DIC again and I can't find a curb view feature. I guess I'll get the dealer to try to sort it out.

unless anyone has any other ideas.

My 05 has the power extending mirrors, but they will not change with driver setting, also, the only thing that does work when you push driver 1 or driver 2 is the seat moves, and most of the time it has forgotten where it was supposed to go. I set it for Driver 1 and within a week, if my wife drives it and then I push driver 1, the seat will start to move foreward and ram my knees into the dash. I have watched her and she never used the driver 1/2 button, she just moves it with the seat switch. The other thing is that the remotes, even though labeled as 1/2, do nothing, you still have to push the driver 1/2 button on the door. The stealer told me that for 05 GM removed a bunch of features like temp settings, radio stations settings, and stuff like that because too many stupid people were bringing their cars in because they couldn't figure out how to make theirs work. Overall I am still pissed off about that, because that is the biggest reason that I ordered the "LT", was for the remote feature programming, and it doesn't even work. I can understand the mirrors not working if you have towing extendable because the truck would have no way of knowing weather they were in or out. But the rest of the stuff ticks me off. :blahblah:

My new 05' memory recall does not work with the remotes either. Memory buttons 1 and 2 work, and that's the only way I can get the seats to the stored positions.

I'm going to contact the dealer tomorrow.

Should all mirrors have curb view option? Reason I'm asking is that I know there are three types of mirrors..
1) Your standard mirrors - heated
2) Mirrors with the directional built in - heated, auto dim on drivers side, pwr fold.
3) Camper mirrors with power extend - heated, auto dim on drivers and pwr fold

I have the first kind (unfortunately) and I don't have the curb view as an option in the DIC. My brother in law just picked up a Sierra with the 2nd kind of mirrors and he has the Curb view in his DIC. Not sure if we get jipped because we don't have the power fold mirrors.

I'm not sure about the standard mirrors, but the #2 and #3 have directional, #2 has power fold, and #3 has power extend but not power fold, my power extend mirrors do not have curb view, or auto dim the only nice feature they do have is the shake in the glass Censored , actually everytime I look out the mirrors I think that I am going to have a seizure. Any way just be glad you don't have the power extending mirrors because they suck..

I have an 05 GMC SLT. It has the power extending mirrors.

The only memory feature that works is the seat and only with the door button. The sales man explained that the mirrors and seat, radio and such should go to the 1 position if the truck was unlocked with the 1 key fob or the 1 door button. With the remote key fob nothing happens. With the 1 seat button only the seat moves.

I have read and re read the owners manul several times and still can not get it to work.

According to the manual the mirrors and the seat should change with the remote key fob. Manual leads you to believe that the mirrors should have the auto tilt for reverse but they do not with extending mirrors. Also leads you to believe that the drivers door mirror should dim like the interior review mirror.

Any idea how to get the mirrors to work with memory 1 and memory 2 and how to get the remote key fob to work with any memory?

3. No power fold option on these

You either get power fold or power extend, not both.

If you get power extend mirrors I believe they are not programmable like the power fold ones are. I could be wrong, but my stealer told me that when I bought mine.
