Was driving my truck home tonight and after making a u-turn, my transmission just shot craps on me. The motor will not go above 2000 RPMs and when I try to accelerate, there is a hevay vibration from the tranny. There is no message in the DIC and the service engine soon light hasn't come on yet. This is my third max and I have never had a problem with the trannys. Any ideas? It feels like limp mode.....that or the thing is just totalled. The truck has 2200 miles on it, I had my six gun set on level four, and I was not driving the truck hard.

I would pull the six-gun outta there, and take it to the dealer. With it being that new, I doubt you will have a problem getting it fixed or replaced.

On edit: It might be a good idea to put your stock wheels and tires back on if you have them. Unless your dealer just isn't all that picky about warranty work.

If you have bought all three Dmaxs from them, I bet they take care of you.

Doesen't sound like a transmission issue.Remove Banks Tuner and see if it goes away.If it persist perhaps you got some bad fuel in that case change the fuel filter.
