Left San Diego and about 5 minutes into my drive engine went into limp. I pulled over hooked up the Predator and the trouble codes were P 0202 inj circut malfunction cyl #2, P 2149 and P 0101 Mass air flow. I reset the Trouble codes restarted and my truck and continued my journey (towing my FS 2300 weekend warrior empty) I made it over a big grade and into the desert. On the flats same thing happened only this time the problem wont go away. I have my truck set to 40+ HP tow mode and I was NOT pushing it whatsoever. About to call AAA unless someone has a great idea. HUmmmmph :(((( Should I take the tow tune out???? hmmm

It sounds like you have the famous injector rub through common on the lly engines.

Check all the wiring going to the injectors especially injector 2 and 7

Thank you, if this was an action movie I would pop the hood right now while on the flatbed doing 65 but........ that's not gonna happen. I'll dive into it a little tomorrow. So you are suggesting some chaffing that could expose wire? Makes sense. I have 65,000 miles on the truck and this is the first time I've been left for dead. I'll do some searching on other posts when I get to a faster connection. Appreciate the help errrrrrr body have a great weekend.

Drew, Thank you for doing that for me. I promise to return the favor soon so the vets don't have to waste there time saying. "Do a damn search you green horn"! LOL Rolling up the sleeves now. I'll re-post if the ice picking works.

Drum Roll please. I performed the Ice Pick method on #2 injector plug and my truck runs like a champ again. Thanks to all who helped!

While this memory is fresh in your mind, go out and find where the injector harness goes over the alternator, unhook the zip tie, repair anything that's rubbed through, then insulate with a short piece of 5/8" heater hose... and zip tie back in place. The bracket will rub through your harness and will leave you just as stranded. Oh, and be sure to put that ice pick in your glove box or tool box...

Glad to hear you're up and running again!
