: New door panel. Where to buy?

To keep the story short, I had a friend that drank too much. I decided to give him a ride home. He couldnt figure out how to get the window down fast enough and start puking down my door panel. No way to get it clean without taking the door panel off. During the door panel removal I thought the cover for the windows and door unlock switch came off but it didnt. I pulled it up half way and it tore the soft vinyl. So im looking to buy a new door panel for power windows/locks, heated seats, and charcoal grey in color, passenger front. Is there a website to get new vehicle factory parts from? Or dealer item?

Thanks
Dave

Make your " friend" buy one straight from the dealer........That ought to teach him...

Called the dealer....$449.89 ouch.... Got the PN and checked gmpartsdirect and its $252 over there.... Hes paying no less than half. What a way to break in my new truck. I felt like killing him. Sucks trying to be the better man sometimes. So much easier to just beat the hell out of someone and worry about the rest later. Atleast you feel like you got some justice.

Be thankful he didn't puke on the dash----to have it all run down the defroster ducts and into the heater box. -:t Happened to a friend of mine. Think he sold the vehicle shortly afterwards.

Yea, another guy I know had that happen to him. Puked on his dash and made quite a mess. I was actually able to get all of it out of my truck thankfully. Had to pull off rubber around window and every other small parts to get them clean but its all gone. It wouldnt have been such a bad deal If the vinyl didnt get the little cut in it. I checked the price on gmpartsdirect again and with shipping its $302. So far this has been one expensive 4th of July weekend for me. Have fun and keep the drunks out of your pickups.
