At idle with the clutch out you can hear a thump...thump...thump, push the clutch in and it does away, is this bad? it also makes sort of a creaking noise when letting out on the clutch, i noticed this same noise in my friends ZF/6 ford too, but i dont think the clutch/flywheel are the same, and this is kinda off topic but y doesnt GM use the same setup as ford, they dont seem to be having as many probelms as us

I'm not sure but I believe that Ford and GM use a similar setup. A friend of mine has an '01 f#rd that went through 6 flywheels within 100k miles. So I believe f*rd and GM are in the same boat.

The creaking noise when letting out the clutch could be the clutch pedal itself. Mine creaks when the temp is above about 85 deg. I've never heard the thumping sound.
