I have a 2003 Chevy 2500 and my gas guage reads empty with the yellow gas light on all the time even when tank is completely full. Any suggestions as to why this is?

I was told that it may be a faulty ground somehwere but dont know where to look to inspect the grounds that would effect the guage.

Any help solving this issue would be greatly appreciated...Thanks!

after searching through the forum I have come to the conclusion that because the gauge reads E AND the light is on then it is a faulty fuel sending unit inside of the tank
