Hey Guys,
I think my new truck has a brake problem. I have a 2010 2500HD Crew
Cab, 6.0L motor, 4X4. The truck has 2500 miles on it. Recently it started
a vibration while driving. At first I thought it was something in the rearend
but after yesterday I'm pretty sure it's in the brakes, possibly the rears.
I've also noticed when the vibration starts the brake pedal becomes
pretty stiff but after the vibration stops the pedal is a little mushy.
Yesterday when it started I pressed on the pedal and released it and then
I took my foot and raised UP on the bottom of the brake pedal and the
vibration STOPPED!!!! Vibration starts on it's own, do not have to be using
brakes when it starts. What do you guys think?? Bad caliper? Braking system
losing pressure and allowing caliper to collapse?? Any ideas??
Thanks
Mike
