can i run a ppe programmer on my truck with a stock size exhaust? or will i need a bigger exhaust.

You can run on stock exhaust. Just recommend monitoring the exhaust gas temps.

x3... only thing youd have to worry about is heat...

invest in a set of guages (boost/egt) and ur set... but for a 2-3 hundy for exhaust.. c'maaaan..

Agreed with above. But if he doesn't have a larger exhaust, do you think he will have an EGT or Boost gauge?

To the OP'er, stay under level two and you will be fine.

IMO...exhaust first.. guages.. then programer..

let her breath.. monitor what your motor is doing..THEN and only then.. make more power..

thats just me tho

I believe that he us wanting the programmer for improved MPG. But do agree with you. Not to mention but when I went CAT delete I increased mpgs a little (maybe .5).

X2 I have a friend that bought programmer first then the exhaust and the mpg did not go up very much until he opened it up. Also egr temps were a problem when towing.
