Can I re-oil a K&N filter with AFE oil?? I've got an AFE cleaning kit for my D-max, but I have K&Ns in my Benz. I've been lucky so far and not had any MAF oiling issues in the Benz, but it's time to clean those filters and I'm not looking forward to it.

Any ideas?? Anyone done this before??

I don't know about that situation, but I have an AFE on my d-max and in a pinch bought some K&N oil. Needless to say I had to replace my MAF sensor.-:t (~$300) So I upgraded to PG7 and won't use anything else from now on....

AFE oil on a K&N yes--- K&N on a AFE NO!!!!!!!! It does foul the mass air sensor.
