i scarfed up, an 03 c4500 it had only 4500 miles on it , it has an 8.1 with allison 2000 tranny in it. its alot bigger than the allison 1000 in my 3500, so far this c4500 surpassed my expectations is every area on this truck .

The Allison 1000 and 2000 sure look the same size to me. :confuzeld

I Was Under The Truck Checking It Out , Then I Went To The Dealer To See How They Where Making Out With My 3500 It Was Up On The Rack So I Checked It Out , It Looked Smaller , Unless I Was Seeing Things , It Was A Noticeable Difference I Saw .

Same case, different gear ratios. I think it starts out lower in first and ends up almost about the same in OD.

I have a 03 C-4500 with tha Alli and I was told it had a 1000 with a deep pan. I thought you couldnt get the 2000 unless you went all the way to the C-6500 truck.........what gives?
