I have a Edge juice with Attitude and want to change to PPE but i like the display of the Attitude. I have read that the Attitude on stock still advances the timing some Is it enough to worry about or should i change to gauges or to a insight? I only plan to run the PPE when i get the $ on #1 or maybe #2 due to a stock transmission in my 04.5 LLY. Thanks for any info John.

well i cant say anything for the timing cause i have no idea, but i have ppe and run level 3 on stock tranny for towing and daily driving with no problems. just letting you know, stock tranny seems to hold up to that level fine.

Thanks for the info I have limped the trans once (Stuck in 4th) but not sure if it was cause of bad NSBU or fluid failure due to running Dex. 6 / dark fluid or what, been running stock after hoot flush no problems now for over 2000 mil.

The Edge might have advance the timing on the older models not sure. The do not add timing on level 0. Level 0 is the stock settings.. NO timing advance..

i dont know exactly but i believe you can run the edge for gauges and the ppe for tuning without problems. of course if it was me i would sell the edge and get some mechanical gauges (like em better and more accurate) and have some money left over to put towards the ppe. your coming out ahead that way.
