hi guys, new to this site, but picking your brains on this one. i have a at545 out of a gas p30 chevy large box van that i want to mate to a 2003 ford e350 7.3l diesel engine. now, apparently i can get the adapter plate that mates the 545 to the diesel easily. my problem is i see they make 3 converters for the 545 on gas and diesel non specific to ford or chevy or dodge which this trans was used on. i have figured out that the converter, vacuum modulator will be different right off the bat. now all are 6 bolt, but are they the same as the 4r100 trans that it had on it? am i going to have to custom drill the holes, and is the conveter spacing ok for this application? im wondering if anybodys run into this, as this is a pretty common trans with all medium duty trucks with ford engines. anybody out there with any info on this? thanks for the space diesel
