I can't remember which forum I saw a post that stated our trucks were manufactured at Janesville, WI and a Mexico plant.
My '03 2500HD has a Pontiac Assembly Center sticker affixed to the drivers door jam. (has a picture of the state of Michigan)
Does anyone know how many and what plants built the HD duramax trucks?

MY CC was made, rather assembled, in Indiana.

My '01 2500HD 6.0 reg cab 2WD was also built at the truck and bus plant in Indiana. (had a picture of the state of Indiana on the drivers door jamb)

Pontiac Assembly makes all the body styles except the Crew Cab.
The Crew Cab is built only Flint Michigan.
Hope This helps

John:
It looks like at least 2, maybe 3 with flint. Are there any other plants that assemble the HD trucks?

John R.
You are right! I was thinking of the 1500 EC when I said Indiana. I just looked and the sticker on my CC does say Flint.
Sorry for adding confusion to the issue.

There are 5 plants as far as I know.
I'm not sure if this is all, Maybe Howard can help here.
1 Pontiac, MI
2 Flint MI
3 Fort Wayne In.
4 Shreveport La.
5 Oushawa Canada (don't think it's spelled right)
On Edit
I went back and read your original post again and I think only 1, 2 and 3 make the HD'sEdited by: John R

#5 is the mid-size plant. Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon.
Toluca, Mexico also builds HDs but on a VERY small scale and I think only chassis cabs.
I think John is right about the rest, but I didn't think Fort Wayne (FWA) built the HD. Oshawa (OSH) only builds 1500's.
The other truck plants are Arlington, TX; Silao, Mexico; and Janesville, Wisconsin. These only build the utilities (Tahoe, Sub, Avalanche, Caddys).

P.S. Mine is built in Flint!
