The dude lied to you. Its from a 2002 TrailBlazer or Envoy. Look closely how it says "Bose" on the display and how there is NO "Band" button, just "AM/FM" The early Trailblazers used a wierd 3-plug Bose amp so I cant say for certain whether the connections are the same.
