I've about had it with GM. My truck only has 61,000 miles on it and I have replaced (and paid for!) a Allison Tranny (torque converter bolts loosened). A fuel sending unit at the tune of $800. And now my truck is sputtering at times and doesnt seem to have the power it once did. Check engine light comes on. (fuel injectors?). My rear fenders are cracking at the mounts. My truck has no clearance. An abnormal chirping noise is present when the turbo kicks in? Shall I go on? This truck has not been abused. I use this truck for work.

Give us more details about what year it is and so forth? When was the last fuel filter change?

I just had my trans. done and one of the stock converter bolts wasn't even tightened down. Is this a common problem?

my fenders are doing the same thing. body shop said that there is a bulitin out on it that it needs another set of mounts so they are painting it and puting the second set of mounts for free. although the body shop manager had to check with district manager before he told me this.

My last fuel filter change was last August when the truck had 54,000 miles on it. It now has 61,000 miles on it.

I'd change that filter to start with.

There is a TSB on replacing loosening TC bolts. I tried to do the job myself on mine way back but it's really a two person job. I don't have the TSB # handy. Someone on here might.

I don't think the body will be covered now (unless GM is willing to "good will" it) as the bumper to bumper ended at 3/36. The TC bolts either I think.
Wyo are all the original miles yours? or did you purchase used?
