I have a can of Pyroil starting fluid with upper cylinder lubricant made by Valvoline, that says it is safe to use on diesel engines? no im not using it for my truck im just wondering if any one has ever heard or used this stuff? is it safe for diesels?

Maybe non-glow plug Diesels... Then again, regular ether (when used right) doesn't harm Diesel engines that do not have glow plugs (i.e. Cummins...).

What Green is saying, the 6.5 is a glow plug diesel so don't use it.

Just in case you don't get it and come back here saying "I don't realize that 6.5 have GPs so I used the starting fluid".
