Anybody know whay this happens? I'm guessing there is a drag on a C1 or C2 clutch but I'm could be wrong? is it going to hurt anything? the drag is so slight that I could stop it with my hands on the tire or a small bump in the road. I drove an 08 at work this morning and it does not do this. but the trans is built by me so I may have an issue here.

Do you remember what your clutch clearances were?

Nope, nope I don't gotta come back apart doesn't it? the only reason I noticed it was cause I was at a car washa nd had to put it into neutral for the automated car wash to take me through and it creeped forward I have no way of knowing if it did this from the start when I got the trans put back together.....

In Neutral, its a balancing act between the drag on C1 wanting to go forwards and C3 wanting to go backwards. In stock form, C3 has more drag so the output tends to have reverse rotation, but not enough torque to move the vehicle. I'd suspect something not right with C1 if it wants to move forwards.

There is no clean nuetral in the Alli. C5 clutch is applied I have had people call me with stock Allisons and tell me they felt a slight creep. The elevated line pressure in a built trans might agravate this but it's nothing to worry about.
