Smacked a deer a few days ago and it caused almost $6k in damages... I'm considering an Ali Arc bumper to replace that ridiculously weak factory bumper.

Does anyone have an Ali Arc full bumper replacement on their 04+ GMC or the bolt on Ali Arc grill guard? I'm wondering how they look at different angles (side, front, top, etc) on the new body style...

From what I've heard these are very tough units!

Also, does the bumper replacement offer adequate air flow for the intercooler and tranny cooler? I found an old thread that said there may be problems?

Looks nice, I am probably going to be getting one of those once I get down to the lower 48. How much was freight to the lower 48? I already had a quote from them, but he couldn't quote me the freight at the time. It almost looks like it hangs a little lower than stock, but I'm sure that's just an optical illusion in the pics. (I realized where the tow hooks are)

Thanks, I was able to pick mine up from a truck accessories place in Billings, MT for $950. He said they were a little overstocked at the moment so that's the reason for the price reduction. I think they normally cost about $1100?

I also thought the bumper looked lower than stock but it is an illusion. I'm getting 265's put on this week and will have the torsion bars turned up just a little bit as well. I also plan on cutting out the bottom pieces of the bumper underneath the tow hooks. Hopefully that doesn't weaken the bumper much.

I wish I could pick mine up. I think I got a quote straight from Ali Arc about a year ago for $900 plus freight. I know no matter which way you go, it still it about 1100-1200 for the bumper replacement. I like the Ali Arc though since it is aluminum and somewhat polished. They look good on the darker trucks.
