I went to disconnect the electronic filter harness from the IP and run without this to take out possible variables and noticed someone had already beat me to it.
The reason I wanted to disconnect this item was because the truck seems to have a short loss of fuel around the 60-100 km/h mark intermitently. Not sure if it is fuel related or not.
I replaced these items not related to this incident but even so, the occurance was there prior to this:
Fuel tank
Fuel lines from tank all the way under intake
Fuel filter
Turbomaster (10psi)
Stanadyne PMD
OPS
Glow plug relay
Air filter
I have heard some 6.5's run like crap with this and some run like crap without it, what are your suggestions?
What I am no in the process of is relocating the OPS and installing a relay on this as well as relocating the PMD to the front bumper to rule out these areas as variables
I want to make 100% certain that my IP is posibly at fault by changing these items out before just digging into an IP. Could be the fuel selonoid failing or the entire IP itself but I like to start small and work my way up.
