Crawled under the 4x4 HD today to scope out the impending oil/filter change and cursed the GM engineers the entire time I was under there.

Anyone installed a remote oil filter on their 8.1L? If so, what brand did you use, are your happy with it?, where'd you move the filter to?

My wife had a s-10 blazer with the filter by the air filter canister. Had to remove the air filter to change the oil filter but thats not all bad. Sure would like to see someone come up with something clean that would remote mount. Boss had me put a 8.1 in a Gmc motor home that had a filter adapter on it but I wasn't Impressed with the hoses they sent and I'm a little concerned about how to get around the drive line and keep them from getting wipped should the driveline pick something up.
