Anyway, I was wondering if anybody knows if the cummins blocks are interchangeable? Specifically the >'93 gen 1 rotary pump motors, and the 98.5 to 02 gen 3 24 valve motors?


I have a 93 Dodge truck, that had 200,000 miles. The injection pump was leaking more fuel than the motor was burning. Anyway, found a 98 24 valve motor cheap, so I put that motor in the pickup. Then the oil line from the air compressor to the block came out, and pumped the motor dry.


Long story short, I have a good 93 short block, and a good 98 24 valve head, injection pump, etc.
