I believe this is normal but over the last coupel days when i was shifting to park I can hear a very loud clunk. I believe this is the park pawl, do I have anything to worry about?
When im aggressive in shifting it is loud, when not you cant hear anything.

Actually I think I would chk Ujoints first. It sounds like you could have a loose one. Another thing would be chk is lube on tranny output shaft & yoke. If dry and "you are going a little fast":D this will cause a clunk beause it is sticking & releasing quickly.

my 09 ccsb also makes a loud clunk when shifting to park. It only does this if i dont shift from drive to park in a quick motion. If i hesitate on reverse for even a split second it will make the clunk upon reaching park. Ive also noticed it makes the same noise if im not at a dead stop before shifting. The noise is pretty loud, last time it occured it made nearby people in the parking lot stop and look around as if an accident had happened lol. Does this sound like the parking pawl?

I agree, it'snormal, sometimes I hear it sometimes I don't. Same as you, mostly if you shift quickly out of park is when I hear it or if on a hill and drivetrain is loaded a bit.

Is there any way for the "parking paw" to get stuck? cuz mine shifts into D and ya can feel it but it almost feels like it is still in park. but Reverse works?

Mine is doing it as well with 4K on the truck. If i put it in neutarl first it will not make a sound. Almost like it is pullin to much at idle(right at 720rpm's) or somethin. just started doin it a couple days ago. Not very happy with that really.
