I am going to buy a bellhousing blanket and was wanting to know what some of you guys are using. I have the nv4500 and its probably a little smaller than one for the allison. I wasn't wanting to have to pay alot and jegs and summit have some in my price range, but didn't know if they would work for our size trans. Also do I need the kevlar one or can I use the cheeper nylon one as long as its sfi approved?

check with haisley machine or enterprise engine. They have sfi shields and/or sfi blankets for the nv4500

We have one of the EEP blankets for a NV4500 and one of the red jegs ones too. The jegs one was much cheaper and also SFI approved but i wouldnt trust it to hold much. It weighs nothing compared to the EEP one we have. Matt
