Tried to load a tune from the tune libary at this site. same ops system. it the first time i tried to tune my truck. just got efi live. it wouldn't take the tune, it stopped the read and said ecm in unknown state. i tried it again same thing. so i tried to load my stock tune, same thing. please help!

Does your cig lighter work? May be blown fuse.

Just checked it works. Do i need to change the vin number on the tune to my vin? do i need to change to a script and run it as one? not that i know how!!

Yes I always due the Vin that is!

Changing the VIN has no impact, and won't be causing the issue you describe.

From memory Sleepers problem was battery voltage.

Can you please explain EXACTLY what message you are getting. And also have you been able to read/tune/use the scan tool in the past?

Some quick tips are:
Software/Firmware up to date (At least March 30 2010)
Cig lighter works (if not replace the fuse)
EFILive sends a silence command to aftermarket items, however some are not programmed to listen to these commands (disconnect ipod adaptors, aftermarket alarm/remote entry).
Key is on the ON position not accessories and the motor is not running.
Doors on the vehicle are closed.

I got the tunes i was waiting for, then did a complete reflash with everything set right, and the truck turned to on not acc. I had no problems at all:D i smoked the tires like i never had before. alot more power then my banks box
