How in the heck to you get some nice turbo whistle from our trucks without buying a aftermarket turbo? Those darn Furds sound awesome with a 4" exhaust!

I have seen several posts saying that with a full 4" exhaust they get a little whistle and with an AFE filter a little more but not like the PSD.

I am assuming that it may be the pitch of the blades on the PSD turbo??

Im with you on that man I love the sound. I maybe wrong but the chevys are setup differently than the fords making the turbo on the fords louder. I dont know the explanation but maybe someone else does. ?????

what does changing the impeller on the turbo do for sound and power???

Get an AFE intake. That thing gave me such bad headache from turbo WHINE that I wanted to puke. I took it off immediately.

Was the AFE hard to install?

No it's a pretty easy install. Try to find one with the metal tube for even more turbo whistle.
