Got the 16 x 10 Stonecrushers today, and had the new 305 x 70 x 16 mounted, and dang do they look sexy... I have ordered an 06 but my buddies 01 was at the house and I just had to see what they looked like, and we ran into the problem. The rims and tires are rubbin, so we cranked the front torsions all teh way up and was about 1/2 cent. off. So I wanted to know the best way to lift the truck and get those tires to fit. I didnt know if the leveling kit, they sell 2- 2 1/2 in. and then crankin the torsions a little bit to get them to fit. I can do that for about $200. I really didnt want to get into the skyjacker lifts. If it is the way I have to go then so be it, but i didnt know if anyone had any ideas... Would appreciate everything, let me know. Thanks Again.... 16x10/ 305x70x16

Green torsion keys, and zip-tying your plastic fender liners back.

You might have to do some trimming in the back of the front fender for when it flexs too. I got some 35s to fit on 16x10s but it required more trimming than most guys are willing to do. It looks sweet that way though. You might just go with 8 inch wheels instead, they would tuck in a lot better. The 10 puts them out so far that when you turn they get a lot closer to the fender.

That set up would be perfect for a 4" suspension lift. Squeezing them in with out it will be tough. Green keys to lift it 2", pull all the inner fenders back, trim the front air dam (chevy) or trim the front bumper cover (GMC) pretty good, might need to move the front bumper out 1" also and no splach gaurds to keep the rocks from chipping the paint. I run 285/75/16 on 16x8 with 4.5" back spacing and i have done all this except the bumper spacing and mine still rub sometimes! Good luck!
