I'm getting ready to buy one. Whats a good brand and type of kit to purchase? I have been leaning towards a Magnaflow. Any ideas?

I really like the MBRP. Nice fit and a good quality system.

I installed my Corsa cat-back last night. Extremely smooth install, (hardest part was removing the factory exhaust), it went quickly, (only two beers!), and it made a seat-of-the-pants differance. Turbo seems to spool up quicker, and it sounds like a jet at take off. I bought it at my dealership for about $750, and it's a GM licensed product. I put one on my Z/28 a few years ago, and it held up very well.

I went with MBRP 4" on my 03'. I tried the head pipe section and didn't like the excess soot that was coming out at idle. here in SoCal the trucks all have the disintegrator(what some call the cat). I have had alot of comments that the truck sounds strong without being too loud, unless I am towing my 11k toy hauler. good luck

most brands mentioned here are good kits, (I think Magnaflow makes Banks mufflers for them) listen to them before you buy , each one has its own sound and drone to it

I had a BANKS 4" for a year and now run a MBRP COOL DUALS in T-304......

They are both good systems, but I like the look and sound of the MBRP more than I did the BANKS......

MBRP Duals here I tried the cheapo summit kit and developed a drone from h#ll. The MBRP has no drone just as the advertise and at least on my LB7 it sounds tough under throttle :rockit:

I installed a Full Boar Exhaust by Jones Exhaust www.fullboarexhaust.com and love it. The hardest part was getting my stock exhaust off. It is a 4" turbo back system and I got rid of the muffler & cat and it sounds great.

Having the cool duals cause any power loss? I was always told to run singles on the diesels because you will lose power.

Where is the best place to order an mbrp turbo back exhaust, kitty delete and muffler delete? Can I order it without a muffler so i save a little money and not have to throw it away?
