Why not just do a normal burnout? No need for a line lock.

Get the rear tires wet, and leave the front tires dry.

i just thought it would be allot easier on everything if their where no brakes applied to the rear wheels!
if their was a cheap easy fix then i would do it in a heart beat!

Well if its a one time only thing then the best bet is to not worry about it. You could pull the lines off and plug it or something but not worth the effort especially if you have to bleed the brakes.

this wont be your average squeel the tires and giggle burn out! my tires are going to be roasting smoke pooring off of them. their will be a total of 2 possably 3 burn outs that day.
some one said vise grips on the rear brake lines?? ive herd of it before but would it hurt something in the long run?

At Indy they put wheel chocks in front of tires, worked fine and even a few shifted gears (manual that is).

they dont allow the chocks where i am going! well as the only support to hold your vehical down!

I would not reccommend putting vicegrips on your brake lines. Likely if you were to clamp down on them hard enough for the brakes to not function then you'll most likely weaken the brake line housing which could randomly blow on you in the future and then you'll really not be happy.

You might try greasing the rear pads then replacing them.
Remove all possible weight from the rear of the truck.
Run 30PSI in the front tires.
Run 80-90PSI in the rears.
Only hold the brake down enough to stop it from rolling.

I haven't paid a lot of attetion to the brakes but wonder if u could put some sleeves/shims between the pads to keep them from clamping.
What about taking the calipers off and putting a block between the pads and wire them out of the way.

Line Lock is easy to install. i did it in an hour. Unless you are using it alot for racing. theres no sense in doing it. doing a burn out with a line lock is great tho! its much better and more easy then without it. and it sure saves lots of wear and tear on rear brakes! i think all 2wd drag racers should have one!

I agree.. You can pick one up for between 100 and 150.. Cool option to have..
